Michael Frankel is a corporate development and finance executive with experience in mergers and acquisitions, equity investing, complex finance transactions, corporate strategy and business development.   He has negotiated and closed over 80 transactions as a corporate acquirer, investor, investment banker and attorney. 

Michael currently serves as SVP Business Development and M&A of LexisNexis Group (a subsidiary of Reed Elsevier).  He has served as a corporate development executive for GE Capital, VeriSign and most recently as head of corporate development for Information Resources.  He has also held positions as an investment banker with Merrill Lynch and a corporate attorney with Skadden, Arps. 

Michael serves on the Advisory Board of Corporate Dealmaker Magazine and on the Alumni Board of Governors of the University of Chicago.

Michael holds a BA, MA, MBA and JD from the University of Chicago.
